The Chic Bohemian offers handcrafted knitwear, accessories and jewelry designed and created by me, Cathleen Stephen. Each piece is unique, a spirited combination of fibers, beads and unconventional elements. It is this eclectic yet sophisticated approach to design and fabric construction that truly make my items chic and Bohemian. My work may be seen at choice arts and crafts shows, and my designs have been published nationally and internationally.

Fall is my favorite season. I relish the crisp air and sun of mid-September and all the promise it brings of cooler evenings ahead. Trails blanketed with crunchy leaves, the scent of burning wood and the glance of a patch of orange fur as the fox makes his way through our property. Year-in and year-out, it never grows old. Fall also marks the start of a new craft show season and a hankering to pick up a fresh knitting or crochet project. Check out the list of craft shows below. Each show features a wonderful bevy of artists and craftsmen and will provide you with a jumpstart to your holiday shopping.
Last fall, my daughter Anna and her good friend Kristen paid a visit and graciously served as my models for the afternoon. Images of that informal “shoot” are pictured above. It’s nice when your children come home.
